KananX Privacy Policy

KananX is an MVP browser security extension designed to help detect risky browsing activity, investigate browser-related security events, discover SaaS usage, and provide security alerts and reports.

KananX collects data only after the extension is activated. Activation may be completed by the user using an activation code, or approved by an authorized administrator on behalf of the user or organization.

After activation, KananX may collect and process browser security telemetry and browsing data related to the use of the extension. This may include information about browsing activity, visited websites, browser events, device/browser information, user or sensor identifiers, security signals, alerts, and other relevant information needed to provide and improve the KananX service.

KananX uses this information to provide browser security monitoring, threat detection, session investigation, SaaS discovery, security controls, alerts, reporting, product improvement, support, and operational purposes.

KananX does not sell collected data. KananX does not use browser security telemetry for advertising.

KananX may share data with service providers only where needed to operate, secure, support, or improve the service, or where required by law.

If KananX is used by an organization, the organization may control the deployment, activation, monitoring, retention, and use of browser security telemetry collected through the extension.
